The Department of Epidemiology is seeking a Project manager to oversee 2 large NIH grants. The candidate should have a strong interest in issues surrounding disability and pregnancy, have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, utilize time and resources efficiently, and establish priorities while appropriately allocating resources. They will lead regular study team meetings, supervise staff, and represent the study to internal and external staff.

The Project Manager will be responsible for hiring and supervising all research support staff, including training, delegating tasks, overseeing daily activities, mentoring, guiding through demonstration of best practices, and offering opportunities for professional development. They will develop and oversee study protocols, IRB submissions, and manage other staff through the submission of Data Use Agreements and data acquisition from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. They will prepare funder status reports and contribute to writing grant renewals as well as lead manuscript writing for some analyses.
