The RAVEN team is looking for a graduate student with qualitative data analysis training/experience to contribute to a time-limited data analysis project during June-August 2023. The RA would be working closely with post-doc Sarah Chavez and faculty Kate Carey to qualitatively code and analyze ~200 short essays generated in the context of a brief alcohol intervention. All essays respond to a prompt about ways to implementing strategies to avoid negative consequences after drinking. The goal of this qualitative data analyses is to identify themes and patterns in the responses. Depending on interest, the RA will have the opportunity to co-author a conference presentation and/or publication.
