Candidates should have a Ph.D. and a demonstrated track record of academic or industrial accomplishments. Relevant areas of experience might include direct application of molecular dynamics or machine learning to drug discovery, computer-aided drug design, molecular modeling, cheminformatics, fragment-based approaches, medicinal chemistry, biochemical and biophysical assay development, or target analysis and selection. Specific knowledge of any of these areas is less critical, however, than strong research skills, and a history of innovation and accomplishment. Successful candidates will directly further the group’s drug discovery aims. This is anticipated to be a three-year position.
