Full-time, in-person Research Coordinator is sought to coordinate Dr. Marilyn Moy’s clinical research program at VA Boston Healthcare System.  Research is focused on epidemiologic and interventional studies related to Veterans with chronic lung disease and physical activity promotion.


Duties include conducting statistical analyses under the guidance of the principal investigator, supervising and supporting research assistants, preparing regulatory documents for internal and external oversight entities, and coordinating communication with collaborators.  The research coordinator will also participate in the primary collection of outcomes data from human subject participants.  There is opportunity for the candidate interested in pursuing future doctoral work or work in industry to actively participate in writing abstracts and research papers, and delivering scientific presentations.


MPH/MS in Epidemiology, Public Health, or an equivalent field is required.  Spring 2024 graduates are welcomed to apply.  A working knowledge of SAS programming is preferred.  Requirements also include superior interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of standard computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.


Candidates seeking a 2-year commitment or greater are preferred.


A successful candidate will gain valuable experience and knowledge working in all phases of the clinical research process, including study design and implementation, data collection, regulatory oversight, and analysis and interpretation of results.  This position is ideal for someone wishing to gain hands-on experience in a clinical or health-related field.  This is a unique opportunity for someone seeking a collaborative experience while receiving outstanding mentorship.
