The Senior Manager of Reproductive Health will be part of the Office of Women’s Health in the Division of Women, Children, and Nursing Services. This position will be responsible for providing ongoing leadership and management for the Family Planning Program provided in Public Health Districts and county health departments in Georgia. The Senior Manager of Reproductive Health will ensure the standard of quality of care is maintained throughout the program to ensure goals are met and compliance with funding requirements is maintained. This position will be responsible for the successful expansion of the Program including increasing the family planning workforce, coordination, and implementation of training for public health nurses, and developing and implementing plans to increase the availability of long-term reversible contraceptives (LARCs) and other contraceptive methods. Such a scale-up will require representation and coordination with key stakeholders in both the public and private sectors. The Senior Manager of Reproductive Health will be responsible for federal grant compliance, state funding requirements, and contract management.
