Sr Research Assistant

The senior RA assists the PI in the design and implementation of study protocols and is responsible for the smooth operation of the study on a day-to-day basis and specifically:

•  Participants’ recruitment procedures (e.g. making and posting flyers contacting recruitment sources mailings); conducting electronic medical records searches to identify potential participants; telephone screenings; and all other phases of subject recruitment including administering informed consent.
• Scheduling and conducting participants assessments at baseline and at each follow-up visit; preparing accelerometers for use and downloading of accelerometer data; conducting Physical Activity Recall assessments; coordinating collection of blood samples at Lifespan laboratory.
• REDCap data entry and timely updating of the Access and REDCap databases and managing participants payments.
• Assists the PI in NIH and IRB reporting.
• Perform other study-related tasks as needed (i.e. literature reviews drafting of manuscripts grant submissions.
