The Lupus Research Alliance (LRA) is the largest nonprofit organization leading the world in innovative research to improve the lives of those living with lupus today and to prevent and cure lupus tomorrow. The Alliance has created an affiliate, Lupus Therapeutics LLC (LT), to oversee clinical research trials and patient engagement, as well as the Lupus Clinical Investigators Network (LuCIN) to facilitate the development of new and existing therapies to treat, cure, and ultimately prevent lupus.
Recognizing the need for greater participation and engagement in clinical trials among those most impacted by lupus, LT, and LRA recently launched its hallmark health equity initiative, Project CHANGE, a community-based health action network that will help increase meaningful and equitable clinical trial awareness, participation, and retention among people of color living with lupus.
Lupus Therapeutics, in conjunction with the Lupus Research Alliance, is seeking a proactive, professional, detail-oriented, personable individual to assist with all health equity programs and activities. Lupus Therapeutics and Lupus Research Alliance are consistently working to create and maintain innovative and inclusive health equity programs and campaigns, where the prioritization of diversity and inclusion is paramount. This position supports these core messages.
The Program Coordinator, Health Equity will support the Project Manager, Health Equity with the development, implementation, and coordination of health equity initiatives across LRA and LT, including Project CHANGE.
