This position will support the work of the Rhode Island Public Health Association (RIPHA) on projects funded by the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) and other grants. This coordinator will oversee the work of the Public Health Messaging and Community Engagement project including the creation of data briefs on numerous topics in collaboration with RIDOH programs. This coordinator will also oversee the development of community-facing communication tools. This coordinator will oversee students working on writing and editing, will hire external experts and oversee their paid collaboration, and will attend community meetings in the development and dissemination of data briefs and other communication tools. This position will also support the development of a spring conference and other community engagement opportunities.
