Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is seeking Graduate students for proctoring exams with accommodations, this may include reading and scribing when needed.

Major Responsibilities

SAS Graduate student proctors will monitor students with accommodations during exams and confidently troubleshoot as needed. SAS Graduate proctors will be in communication with faculty of the course.

The role of a proctor may also involve reading exam questions to students or scribing answers as dictated by a student. Advance notice and instruction will be given to the proctor.

Other duties include the pick-up/ drop-off of exam materials to the Instructor/Department. As well as typically picking up and dropping off student exam laptops at SAS.

Job Qualifications

  • Applicants need to be punctual, have excellent communication skills, and maintain a high level of confidentiality with student information and commitment to the integrity of exams.
  • Each SAS graduate proctor will need to sign a FERPA form at the time of hire.
  • At hire, SAS proctors will review and sign the SAS proctor guidelines
